Machining of precise holes for bearings
Blecha, Jan ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is about machining of exact hole specifications to fit the bearings from the the theoretical overviewof the fiiting. Another purpose is to describe; the overview of machines, the choices in bearings, and the types of gearboxes. Finally, it deals with the different methods of surface finishing, how to produce the holes for the bearings to fit in gearboxes. Finally, it deals with the different methods of surface finishing and how to produce the holes for the bearings to fit in the gearboxes
Web Application for Personal Timetable Planning
Konupčík, Viktor ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis introduces an application developed for students of the Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology, to help them plan individual personal schedules. Before the proposal, current options were analysed and evaluated. Then, the optimal solution is introduced and implemented. The proposed application enables students to clearly plan lecture windows, even before the registration of courses. The application also checks time overlaps, controls if selected windows in the schedule are correct, whether the student has enough time to reach the selected lectures at different places and controls and informs about the number of students considering a lecture at the same time. The personalised schedule can be created even without lecture registration. The application also offers further useful functionalities such as exam overviews, customised windows for lectures and export to personal calendars.
Projects Web-Page of Our Faculty
Bajzecer, Tomáš ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
Project was made for presentation student's MSc. and Bc. projects. His main focuses of activity are download, presentation as well as upload of documets and source codes, that are associated with this project. Solvings are designed for the best comfortable of users and fast access on pages of full faculty web page of projects. Last but not least there is included access on database data and editation of data. Functions of web page are divided according to access privileges and secured with cryptographic transfer of data. Searching projects are based on queries in database by means of data indexing for faster access on data.
Timetable Planning Support Software
Tesařová, Alena ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a schedule planning software for lectures and exams at FIT VUT. The final result will provide support for input data preparation, completing teacher's requirements and allowing the planning and subsequent data export in formats suitable for importing into the FIT information system and into the previously used application. The theoretical part deals with general issues of schedule planning and specifics of planning at FIT. The implementation part contains the system design and application implementation description. The result of the work is a software that is currently used to support timetable scheduling at FIT VUT.

Analysis of the renewable energy support schemes in the EU: Can be an ECOlogical also an ECOnomical?
Andoková, Senta ; Cahlík, Tomáš (advisor) ; Rečka, Lukáš (referee)
The study compares FIT (Feed-in tariff) and RPS (Renewable Portfolio Standard) as the two most commonly used support schemes for renewable energy sources (RES) in the EU. It examines a relationship of an Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) and by a practical experiment for public lighting in Prague the study proposes an ecological functioning of electricity grids in the EU with CO2 emissions reduction effect. The main contribution lies in the recency and originality of the econometric analysis and practical experiment. FIT and RPS analysis demonstrates that both schemes affect demand for electricity and increase its price. The econometric model was tested for 28 EU countries for 1990-2013. The results say that the EU is currently located on the downslope of the inverted U-shaped EKC with a turning point, after which the dependence begins to grow. Nevertheless, for the most of observations the turning point is too far to be a source of concern. Practical experiment has shown that installation of energy saving devices for electricity grids in the EU can bring satisfactory results in reducing CO2 emissions independently of state aid. More efficient use of existing energy sources, however, should rather serve as a complement to conventional support, phasing out with the development of RES technologies....
